For the past week, we’ve been posting daily “CHC Slam Dunk” posts on social media (Twitter, Facebook & Instagram). Porter Moser impressed us in his 2 great Big Dance runs (Final 4 & Sweet 16) with Loyola-Chicago, where he won 99 games (73 Win%) in past 4 years. But Cinderella no more! Moser now coaches Oklahoma Sooners in Big 12 for now, soon SEC. Can he make the jump?

We're optimistic on new UNC Coach Hubie Davis. As college/pro player, ESPN analyst & UNC Asst, he was honest & cerebral & respected for high character & integrity. He's paid his dues & has great basketball mind. Hubie will continue success of Roy Williams.

We think Purdue is underrated & can make Final 4. Boilermakers return all 5 starters from 4th seed in NCAAs, return 95% of scoring, well coached by Matt Painter & play strong D. Trevion Williams is star & 7-4 SOPH Zach Edey & SOPH Jaden Ivey will be better.

There's a new team in CBB D1 – St. Thomas Tommies (love name) – Catholic school in Minnesota w/ 9878 students. Tommies jump from D3 to D1 (normally takes decade/got NCAA waiver/no postseason yet) & will play in Summit League. Tommies were 7-0 last season.
